The Family & The Farm

We work the farm year round, tending the fields, the livestock, and the gardens.  Working together, the farm is not just a job or a place to work, it is a way of life.  It is a great place to raise our family and instill the values we want in our children.  That is why we work so hard to be here, because we believe in it.   Our family and the farm go hand in hand.

Our farm is a fifth generation working farm.  It started as a homestead farm, went to a dairy mixed farm during World War 2, then to a grain farm in the early 70's, and now we are a mixed family farm.  We farm as close to how our great grandfather farmed with the knowledge they passed down to us, all while incorporating new tech and ideas.  We currently grow grain and hay, and raise beef cattle, pigs, chickens, turkeys, waterfowl, dairy cows, dairy goats, rabbits, and our children.  There are few things we don't grow or raise these days.

All our farmhouse products are made here on the farm using recipes passed down over the generations.  We also blend all our feeds here on the farm so we know what is in them, allowing us to know what quality we will get for our meat and eggs.  We are proud to offer you the quality items we have at our table through out the year.

Check out our newest farm updates HERE.  This will take you to our Facebook farm page and you can see posts about what is available now, to what we are doing, to what livestock is about to give birth.

This barn built in 1926 by our great grandfather.  We still maintain it using chinking, but with new footings.  It was once used for work horses on the east side and dairy cows on the west side.  We use it for pig breeding stock in the winter.  Straw storage is above where one of the kids is standing by the access window.
